Champions League: Bayern Munich wins Champions League for record 6th time.

Bayern Munich has tonight won the Champions League trophy for 2019/2020 season.

They won the final, after a pulsating 90 minutes of action against French giants, PSG. The first half was a close and tactically balanced tie, as both teams applied caution in going to and fro, and that saw the first half end in a stalemate.

However, the second half was a different ball game, as the German champions came out more determined, and drew the first blood on the 59th minute mark, when Kingsley Coman finished well from Joshua Kimmich's deft cross, to put the Germans 1-0 up. That will be the last score when the final whistle sounded at the end of the regulation time.

This, sees them winning the Champions League trophy for the record 6th time in their history of participating in the tournament.

Congrats deserved winners, Bayern!
