Former Chelsea player, Mikel joins Stoke City on free transfer.


Former Chelsea Midfielder, John Obi Mikel, has this evening joined Stoke City Football Club of England on a free transfer. 

The Nigerian, who started last Season with Trabzonspor football club in Turkey, could not finish the season, as he left the club on protest, following their delay in adhering to covid-19 rules. 

He became a free agent since then, but has always had interest in coming back to England. 

He arrived England in the early hours of Monday morning for his medicals in Stoke city, before his transfer was officially confirmed by the club this evening.
