Missing Malaysian boy found in a crocodile's stomach - photos


A sad incident occurred today in Malaysia, as a 14year old teenager who had been missing for the past three days, was found dead inside the stomach of a crocodile. 

The teenager, Ricky Ganya, went to pick snails with his family at a riverbank in Kuching, Malaysia on Friday, when he was pulled from the riverbank and dragged underwater by the 14-foot crocodile. 

The locals, who later use a chicken to lure the crocodile out of the water, three days later. However, when its tummy was cut open, a sad scene awaited the locals, as the remains of the boy with some pieces of his cloth was found inside the crocodile. 

An Officer from the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Operations Center, reported on the incident; "At about 9:15am, the crocodile took the bait, a chicken attached to a hook laid by a team at a  spot about three miles away from where the boy was last seen. 

"The crocodile was pulled onto the shore where its stomach was checked. Sadly, there were human remains inside and these were identified as belonging to the missing teenager."

The teenager's remains have since been taken home by his family, for a proper burial.
