BBNAIJA Alleged closure: Does the FG has the right to shut it down??

News broke out yesterday that the 5th edition of BBNaija is under a threat of being shut down by the Federal Government.
The stay of the current housemates such as Ozo, Nengi, Erica, Kiddwaya et al in Biggie's house in the ongoing BBNaija reality TV show may abruptly be brought to an end, following the latest rumour.
The Cable reported that citing the possibility of the spread of Covid-19 among the inmates, Lai Mohammed ordered the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC) to take BBNaija 5th edition of the air.

The Acting Director-General of the NBC, Mr. Armstrong Idachaba allegedly confirmed this latest development, when he informed the senior management members that he had been ordered by the minister representating the Federal Government to shut down the show.
Now, following this latest development, many Nigerians who have been watching the show since it began, have begun to question the motive of the Federal Government and asking whether it has the right to shut down the program.
