PAINT DIVAH: Story of a young female entrepreneur from Anambra state who paints and runs a car wash Business.

In our young entrepreneur check today, we landed in Anambra State, from where we bring to you story a young entrepreneur who is a professional painter and also runs a Car Wash Business. Her name is Amarachi Okafor, popularly known as Paint Divah. 

Amarachi Okafor, graduated from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka in November, 2019 from the department of 'Religion and Human Relations'.

One striking thing about Amarachi, is that she started her Painting career even before she had graduated from University. That's some sort of hard work, if you consider the rigors of being an undergraduate in a Nigerian university. But this young lady was not deterred. 

Amarachi, is also interested in empowering young ladies like her. This can be seen from her facebook update in late 2019, upon her graduation from the University, where she stated thus:

"If women are not marginalized in male dominated working fields like Building and Road construction, architecturing, painting, sculpturing, tile-installation...and so on. If only the society will support and encourage us. 

If only we won't be looked down  when we submit quotations because we are women. If only our voices can be heard... 

PAINT DIVAH NG... gives every woman who has passion in male dominated fields a voice. A chance to show what she can bring to the table. It's a tough work but surely we are determined".

Following her update above, some weeks later, she introduced her Car Wash Business DIVAH CAR WASH, where she employed only women to operate same, in Awka Anambra State. That car wash centre has been attracting big customers in the location who value the industriousness of these young ladies. 

Today, Amarachi Okafor, is the MD/CEO Paint Divah Nigeria. Operates a foundation known as Maara Okafor Foundation and runs a Car Wash Business. 

Indeed, she has proven that if you're determined you can be whatever you want to be in any area of life, no matter your gender.
