JUDICIARY: Court of Appeal loses one of its Judges.

The Court of Appeal, Ibadan Judicial Division, has lost one of its Judges, Hon. Justice Nonye Okoronkwo. 

The Late Justice Okoronkwo, who was until his elevation to the Court of Appeal, a High Court Judge of Imo State, was confirmed dead on Sunday morning, 26th July, 2020 at the University College Hospital, Ibadan after a failed Heart Surgery. 
My Lord, may your soul rest in peace.. Amen!

Juventus sack coach, Sarri. End of Sarri ball??

Juventus Football Club, has this afternoon fired their Manager, Maurizio Sarri despite winning the Italian Serie A, and after just one year of employing his services.  The sack came following Juventus' exit yesterday from the UEFA Champions League, at the hands of French Minnows Lyon FC.  The owners of Juve were not satisfied with the work of Sarri, despite winning the Serie A, which also saw Juventus clinch the title with their lowest point tally in their last 8 times of winning the title.  Maurizio Sarri joined Juve in July, 2019, from Chelsea, just after one year in Chelsea, after he failed to instil his famous Sarri-ball into the Chelsea squad, and he felt under-appreciated by the club.  Now, just after one year in Charge of Juventus, he has been fired. This also means bad luck for Chelsea, who had planned to ship Jorgingho to Juventus and back to Sarri, for him to continue his Sarri-ball, while they recoup money and add to their transfer wallet....

Breaking: Liverpool signs Bayern midfielder, Thiago Alcantara in a bargain £20million deal

The Premier League Champions, have this evening announced their acquisition of Bayern Munich midfielder, Thiago Alcantara in a bargain £20million deal, goal has reported.  The reds have pursued this deal all summer, after the midfielder made it known to the Bayern board that he would be leaving at the end of the previous season.  The La Masia academy brought up, spent Seven solid years with the German champions, winning many trophies. He earlier confirmed this deal yesterday on his social media accounts when he wrote a long emotional farewell message to Bayern and their supporters.  What a bargain deal Jurgen Klopp and his team just pulled off.

Dogara's defection back to APC Highlights the Political prostitution by Nigerian Politicians.

The former Speak of the Nigeria's House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara, has today left his political party, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and rejoined his former party All Progressive Congress (APC) in a move which has not augured well with the opposition party PDP.  Dogara, it would be recalled, left the ruling political party APC in January, 2019 before the general elections while he was serving as the Speaker of the House. Dogara met with President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House in Abuja with the Chairman of the APC Caretaker/National Convention Planning Committee, and Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni.
