JUDICIARY: Court of Appeal loses one of its Judges.

The Court of Appeal, Ibadan Judicial Division, has lost one of its Judges, Hon. Justice Nonye Okoronkwo. 

The Late Justice Okoronkwo, who was until his elevation to the Court of Appeal, a High Court Judge of Imo State, was confirmed dead on Sunday morning, 26th July, 2020 at the University College Hospital, Ibadan after a failed Heart Surgery. 
My Lord, may your soul rest in peace.. Amen!

What promised to be a clash of the Titans on the final day of the season, ended up seeing the Blues and the reds clinch the remaining two top 4 slots, as Leicester slipped down the log and into the Europa league. The Honourable member of the House of Representatives, Kabiru Mai-Palace , has launched a multi-million Naira empowerment programme for his constituents in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara. The honourable member, representing his people under the umbrella of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) launched this project as a means of empowering the indigent in his constituent, to help enable them start up something to help their families.  The beneficiaries of this project were seen receiving items such as detergents, local charcoal irons, wash-hand basins, and so on and so forth.  What a way to empower your people, Honourable member! Dogara's defection back to APC Highlights the Political prostitution by Nigerian Politicians.

The former Speak of the Nigeria's House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara, has today left his political party, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and rejoined his former party All Progressive Congress (APC) in a move which has not augured well with the opposition party PDP.  Dogara, it would be recalled, left the ruling political party APC in January, 2019 before the general elections while he was serving as the Speaker of the House. Dogara met with President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House in Abuja with the Chairman of the APC Caretaker/National Convention Planning Committee, and Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni.
